About the role
We are seeking a motivated Senior Research Fellow to join Assistant Professor Lynn Yap’s laboratory at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, NTU Singapore. The role focuses on basic and translational cardiometabolic research, particularly regenerative cardiology using stem‑cell‑based therapies.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately monitor, document and report experimental results.
- Present and communicate research findings to the scientific community.
- Assist with the design and execution of stem‑cell and animal model experiments.
Required profile
- Strong interest in cardiometabolic and regenerative cardiology research.
- Experience with pluripotent stem cells and cardiovascular progenitor‑mediated repair.
- Hands‑on experience with small (rodent) and large (pig) animal models.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic‑industry environment.
Required skills
- Stem cell culture and manipulation.
- Animal model experimentation (rodents, pigs).
- Molecular biology techniques for cardiac regeneration studies.
