Senior Risk Analyst I

About the role

Micron Technology is seeking a Risk Analyst to support its global Risk Management function. The role contributes to the administration, analysis and continuous improvement of corporate insurance programs and enterprise risk management activities, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, analyse and monitor risks while supporting cost-effective risk transfer and mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Support corporate insurance programs through underwriting data compilation, insurer applications and policy renewals, and assist with coverage placement and insurer inquiries
• Maintain insurance records, policy registers and program documentation, and provide technical consultation to stakeholders
• Support workers' compensation and casualty claims administration, gather loss documentation, liaise with adjusters and third-party consultants, and track claims and loss trends
• Identify property and casualty risks through insurer questionnaires, analyse risk information and report risk data from internal and external sources
• Track key and emerging risks and support the development, implementation and monitoring of risk management practices
• Maintain risk management information systems such as claims databases, policy registers and compliance matrices
• Support quarterly insurance budgeting, cost allocation and reconciliation, coordinate with Finance on allocation methodologies, and process insurance-related invoices
• Work with internal departments to establish and monitor risk mitigation programs, communicate budget changes to Finance and site stakeholders, and take part in risk management and cross-functional meetings
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve efficiency and quality, and share AI-enabled improvements within the scope of work

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management or equivalent
• Experience supporting risk management, insurance or related analytical functions
• Multi-regional/multi-national construction insurance experience
• Insurance experience in Taiwan, India and China
• Experience with on-site loss adjusters for construction and operational insurance programs
• Experience with casualty and worker's compensation claims
