Senior Scientist – Bioanalytical

About the role

Labcorp is looking for a Senior Scientist to join its Bioanalytical team in Singapore. The role involves leading complex laboratory analyses, applying new methods, and ensuring high‑quality data generation in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex, non‑routine analyses using advanced techniques such as LC‑MS and ligand‑binding assays.
• Execute analytical workflows across diverse compounds and biological matrices with high accuracy.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support method development, validation, and optimization, and introduce new technologies into routine use.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced instrumentation, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and ensure GxP compliance.
• Mentor junior staff, provide technical guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field with ≥3 years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with ≥5 years experience.
• Hands‑on experience with complex analytical platforms (e.g., LC‑MS, LBA, hybrid assays).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a bioanalytical laboratory.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (GLP/GCP/GCLP).
• Attention to detail, independent work style, and good teamwork.
