Senior Site Engineer

About the role

Citadel Search is looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities on site. You will plan, implement and monitor site works in line with approved programs, keeping technical accuracy, quality standards, safety requirements and coordination with engineers, consultants and subcontractors throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise daily construction activities and site progress within assigned scopes of work
• Plan, implement and monitor site works, scheduling in line with the approved master and detailed work programs
• Liaise with the Professional Engineer on temporary work matters
• Liaise with consultants and Qualified Persons (QPs) on technical and engineering issues
• Coordinate site activities with subcontractors
• Guide site supervisors so that works follow approved drawings, methods and schedules
• Maintain quality standards through regular site inspections and monitoring of workmanship
• Ensure technical and engineering issues are addressed promptly and resolved
• Prepare construction reports, method statements and other documentation when required
• Manage and control workers on site to keep the environment safe, orderly and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, instructions and site procedures

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil works, including prior experience on LTA projects
• Hands-on experience managing diaphragm wall, bored piling, bulk excavation, drain construction and tunnel structure (rebar, concrete) works
• Lifting certificate is advantageous
• Willingness to work a 6-day week (7.30am-6pm)
