Senior Social Worker – Team Lead

About the role

The Senior Social Worker – Team Lead will lead a multidisciplinary team at Kampong Kapor Community Services, delivering client‑centered social work services in Singapore. This role blends clinical supervision with operational management to ensure high‑quality care aligned with the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily team operations, including scheduling, resource allocation and workflow coordination.
• Collaborate with the Centre Head and other leads to plan centre‑wide activities and improve service processes.
• Provide clinical direction, conduct group supervision, learning circles and team‑based training.
• Manage a full caseload from intake to closure, ensuring compliance with KPIs, SOPs and documentation standards.
• Coordinate intake processes, build partnerships and optimise resource allocation.
• Mentor and evaluate team members, fostering professional development and a collaborative culture.
• Contribute to strategic planning, service improvement initiatives and inter‑agency collaboration.

Required profile

• Relevant social work qualification (e.g., Bachelor or Master in Social Work).
• Minimum 5 years of social work experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong knowledge of ethical and evidence‑based social work practice.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and support staff during crises.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
