Senior Software Developer (Security & Networking)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Software Developer to design and build high‑performance, security‑critical services that run close to the network stack. You will work across security, platform and infrastructure teams to translate protocol requirements into robust, production‑ready code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑grade services and libraries for security‑sensitive, network‑facing contexts.
• Implement cryptographic mechanisms using established libraries and follow secure engineering practices.
• Build components that interact with transport and security protocols (TLS, certificates, key handling) and networking primitives (TCP/UDP, sockets, streaming I/O).
• Optimize throughput and latency through profiling, memory efficiency, concurrency control and back‑pressure handling.
• Design for operability with metrics, structured logging, tracing and alert‑friendly error handling.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, fuzz/property and negative security tests.
• Participate in secure SDLC activities such as threat modelling, code reviews and vulnerability remediation.

Required profile

• Strong production experience in Go, NodeJS, Python or Rust.
• Solid fundamentals in network programming (socket I/O, connection lifecycle, buffering, framing).
• Practical understanding of applied security, including secure coding, key handling, authentication/authorization and common attack patterns.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments with debugging and performance tooling.
• Ability to deliver clean, maintainable code with strong testing, CI/CD and documentation discipline.
