Senior Software Engineer – FX Trading Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast‑paced FX Engineering team. You will help rebuild our market‑leading multi‑dealer FX trading platform, delivering low‑latency, fault‑tolerant services that power critical financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud‑native backend systems using Java and the Spring framework.
• Perform performance tuning to ensure ultra‑low latency and high availability of market infrastructure services.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain robust test coverage.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, requirement elaboration, and technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Strong experience building low‑latency, fault‑tolerant distributed systems in the financial domain.
• Familiarity with finance‑related certifications (FRM, CFA, PRM) is a plus.

Required skills

• Core Java and Spring Framework.
• Messaging systems such as Kafka and Solace.
• SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Kubernetes and Docker for cloud‑native deployments.
• Experience with performance optimization and distributed system design.
