Senior Software Engineer – Mobile (Android) – Wallet

About the role

Google is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Google Wallet team in Singapore. You will design, develop, and launch innovative Android features that power digital wallets for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features and a scalable platform for Google Wallet on Android.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to enhance existing functionality.
• Integrate third‑party data and ensure smooth onboarding for new Wallet integrators.
• Own end‑to‑end development from design through deployment and monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience in Java or Kotlin.
• Minimum 3 years of Android application development experience.
• Experience testing, maintaining, and launching mobile products at large scale.
• Preferred: advanced degree, leadership experience, and expertise in payments or NFC technologies.
