Senior Software Engineer (Web)

About the role

Join an innovative team building large‑scale citizen‑facing applications that serve millions of Singaporeans. You will work with modern web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud platforms (AWS) in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, covering both front‑end and back‑end tasks.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications that support government digital services.
• Create responsive, user‑friendly web interfaces.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups into functional code.
• Develop and maintain server‑side logic and RESTful APIs.
• Design and implement database schemas using MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Write unit tests to ensure application reliability and stability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in web application development with ReactJS, NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure.
• Solid background in SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
