About the role
SingHealth is recruiting a Senior / Staff Nurse who provides a high standard of care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to meet patients' needs, including educating patients and their caregivers. The nurse also guides junior nurses toward optimal care and takes part in quality improvement projects.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients
- Educate patients and caregivers
- Orient and guide junior nurses to deliver optimal care
- Assist in resource management
- Take part in quality improvement projects
Required profile
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution
- Advanced Diploma / Post-Basic Certificate in Critical Care for critical care posts
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The nurse may work in inpatient wards, the Intensive Care Unit, the Operating Theatre or the Short Stay Ward.
