About the role
The National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), part of SingHealth, is looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join its Department of Supportive & Palliative Care. The nurse provides care to patients facing cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, focusing on symptom management, emotional support and quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to patients facing cancer and other life-limiting illnesses
- Focus on symptom management, emotional support and quality of life
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
- A post-basic certificate in Palliative Care or equivalent is preferred
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Oncology or Palliative Care in an acute hospital setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong commitment to compassionate and holistic care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive and caring attitude
