Senior Staff Planner

About the role

We’re seeking a candidate with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to join Marvell’s Supply Chain Planning group. The role collaborates with global Business Operations, Marketing, Engineering and suppliers to support corporate revenue goals and ensure on‑time delivery of semiconductor chips.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate demand forecasts for the business unit and drive quarterly consensus with BU, sales and finance.
• Assemble and analyze data such as bookings, customer lead times, historical sales and market trends to create forecasts.
• Own and improve forecast accuracy, bias metrics and buffer stock levels.
• Review weekly wafer start and assembly load plans to balance delivery and inventory.
• Own customer on‑time delivery metric, analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or Operations; MBA/MS preferred.
• Strong communication, self‑starter attitude and detail‑oriented analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including complex formulas and data analysis).
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Experience using advanced planning systems.
• Familiarity with statistical software packages.
