Senior Sustainability Consultant

About the role

JLL is recruiting an experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to deliver expert advisory services and lead green certification programs for clients' diverse real estate portfolios. The role suits a technically proficient professional with solid mechanical or electrical engineering foundations who can give strategic sustainability advice and achieve measurable environmental performance improvements across several markets and project types. The position is on-site in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate building designs, construction plans and documentation for compliance with Green Mark, LEED, WELL and other certification standards, and carry out site inspections to monitor environmental practices during construction.
• Carry out environmental impact assessments of construction activities and review project materials, including energy performance data, material specifications and sustainability reports, and recommend ways to mitigate impacts and improve performance.
• Work with consultants, contractors and developers to guide projects on sustainability and compliance, and train project teams and clients on sustainable building methods and certification strategies.
• Produce assessment reports, keep records of evaluations and recommendations, and stay up to date with industry standards and certification protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability or a closely related technical field; GMAP, GMAAP, LEED AP or WELL AP credentials preferred, and current SCEM registration is a significant advantage.
• At least five years of progressive experience in Environmental Sustainability Design (ESD) or ESCO consulting, with a track record of Green Mark, LEED and WELL certified projects.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking and the ability to write technical reports and manage multiple complex projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Green Mark regulations and best practices.
• Willingness to perform hands-on site assessments.
• Knowledge of ACMV systems, building design and AutoCAD is an advantage.
