Senior System Administrator

About the role

A leading financial services player is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join its IT team in Singapore. The role is hands‑on, focusing on Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID to ensure secure and reliable messaging and identity services across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Administer on‑premises Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online, planning and delivering migrations, hybrid coexistence, mail flow and cut‑over activities.
• Manage Microsoft 365 messaging services and integrate them with Entra ID, SSO, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SAML, collaborating with IAM and Workplace teams.
• Support the broader Windows environment, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP and AD Connect, while handling escalated incidents and changes.
• Contribute to patching, security, compliance and audit readiness, and automate routine tasks using PowerShell.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of hands‑on system administration experience.
• Strong experience administering on‑premises Exchange (ideally 2019 or Subscription Edition) and delivering migrations to Exchange Online/Microsoft 365.
• Solid background supporting an internal corporate or enterprise IT environment and end‑users.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure/Azure Stack, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, AD Connect and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with identity and federation technologies such as Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC/PIM, OIDC, OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
• Experience with SharePoint and Teams is a plus.
