Senior System Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

The Company is looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to own and evolve its enterprise infrastructure across on‑premises and Microsoft Azure environments. You will ensure the reliability, performance and security of critical systems while driving key migration and optimisation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP and related identity services.
• Administer VMware and Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
• Design, implement and support hybrid cloud integration with Microsoft Azure services (Azure AD, VMs, Backup, Networking, Monitor, Site Recovery).
• Maintain SAN storage, enterprise backup (NetBackup) and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, conduct root‑cause analysis and apply corrective actions.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, deployments and security hardening initiatives.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts and maintain technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and implementation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in systems engineering or administration.
• Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects and mentor junior staff.
