Senior System Engineer – IT Infrastructure & Database

About the role

The Senior System Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager and engineering team to ensure contract deliverables are met on time, within budget and scope. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure, databases and network components across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to manage documentation and subcontractor issues.
• Perform system and database setup, including clustering, backup, recovery and migration.
• Configure network switches, IP addressing and conduct network health checks.
• Install, debug and troubleshoot Windows OS, Windows Server and related IT services.
• Support certification, key management and common infrastructure services such as AD, NMS, ClearPass, MFA/2FA, KMS, antivirus, patch management and MDM.
• Lead system integration testing (UAT/FAT/SAT) and ensure smooth production deployment.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering or related IT roles.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Analytical mindset with quick learning of new technologies.
