Senior/Digital Solution Engineer - Enterprise Campus Applications

About the role

ITE Headquarters is hiring a Digital Solution Engineer or Senior Digital Solution Engineer to ensure the reliability and ongoing support of delivered and customised application systems. The role works closely with business users to understand their needs, recommend application enhancements, and design and develop new functional modules and subsystems. It is hands-on, involving investigation and troubleshooting of application issues to deliver effective user support.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, test and deploy enhancements, new functional modules, subsystems and bug fixes on the Student Information System (PeopleSoft Campus Solution)
• Evaluate business requirements through fit-gap analysis, identify feasible alternatives and propose modifications to existing modules and subsystems
• Address end-user-reported issues and bugs, working with the team to keep the system stable and secure
• Manage task and project timelines in line with Government Instruction Manuals and policies

Required profile

• Background in Information Systems or a related field, ideally at least five years of experience in systems analysis
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, writing and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good understanding of software development life cycles and structured project methodologies, including documentation skills
• Experience implementing and supporting PeopleSoft systems, preferably PeopleSoft Campus Solutions; government procurement experience is an added advantage

• Oracle PeopleSoft techno-functional skills and SQL database scripting
• Hands-on application development with PeopleTools 8.58+, PeopleCode, Fluid UI, SQR, Application Engine, XML Publisher, PS Queries, File Layouts, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Application Package and Approval Workflow Engine
