Senior/Manager, Corporate Planning & Performance Management

About the role

The Corporate Planning & Performance Management department assists the Chief Financial Officer in developing, executing and monitoring the corporate strategy in line with NUHS cluster direction. It supports JurongHealth Campus in achieving its strategic objectives through planning, performance tracking and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic planning processes and campus-wide initiatives, and lead the annual planning process for JurongHealth Campus.
• Monitor execution of strategic plans, maintain systems supplying data for planning, and report progress to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with departments and stakeholders on trends, needs and opportunities, and ensure compliance with MOH licensing requirements for hospitals and medical clinics.
• Administer and evaluate departmental activities, including policies, plans, budgets and initiatives.
• Communicate the campus strategy map and balanced scorecard across departments, and cascade health system objectives throughout the organisation.
• Maintain a responsive performance tracking system and oversee reporting and analysis of business performance against targets.
• Provide project management support for departmental and organisational initiatives.
• Manage the team, including budgets, reports, policies and procedures, and the hiring, evaluation and development of staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare administration or comparable industry experience.
• At least 6 years of proven experience as a Strategic Planner or Business Consultant; healthcare management and administration experience is an advantage.
• Strategic thinking, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Knowledge of business operations and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
