Senior/Staff SI/PI Engineer

About the role

Bitdeer, a technology company for Bitcoin mining and AI cloud headquartered in Singapore, is hiring a Senior/Staff Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) Engineer in Singapore. The role covers analysis and optimization of SI and PI across chip, package and system levels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize Signal Integrity and Power Integrity across chip, package and system levels.
• Work with chip design, package design and board-level design teams to optimize floor planning, pad ring, RDL, bump map and ball map designs.
• Model, analyze, optimize and verify chip package structures, run SI/PI risk assessments and sign off high-speed interfaces.
• Establish and deliver detailed SI/PI design guidelines and rules for chip products.
• Build and maintain simulation material libraries, model libraries, simulation environments, advanced SI/PI methodologies and simulation workflows.
• Correlate SI/PI simulation results with physical lab measurements and help debug SI/PI issues across functions.

Required profile

• Degree in Microelectronics, Telecommunications, Electromagnetics, Microwave Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Solid theoretical foundation in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity fundamentals.
• Strong learning agility and intellectual curiosity, with a drive to go deep into signal integrity engineering.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one mainstream SI/PI tool such as ANSYS Electronics Desktop (EDT/HFSS), HSPICE, Keysight ADS or Cadence Sigrity.
