SEO Engineer – Global AI Anime Platform

About the role

You will be responsible for the full SEO system – crawl, index, render, content discoverability and visibility across traditional and AI‑powered search. You’ll own strategy, execution and measurable impact, not just recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and iterate a site‑wide SEO strategy with clear ROI attribution and prioritisation.
• Own crawl budget, index health, and large‑scale UGC indexing across millions of pages.
• Drive SSR / pre‑rendering decisions measured by indexing, ranking and organic traffic gains.
• Optimise for AI search, including AI crawler management, citation monitoring and content extractability.
• Build self‑serve SEO dashboards using GSC APIs, log analysis and internal data pipelines.
• Automate SEO monitoring, diagnostics, regression testing and reporting with AI‑assisted coding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 2+ years of SEO experience, at least 1 year on a million‑page‑scale site.
• Quantifiable technical SEO case study demonstrating baseline, intervention, attribution and result.
• Fluent in Chinese and English.

Required skills

• Strong React and TypeScript skills with solid understanding of SSR, RSC, hydration, caching and streaming.
• Hands‑on log file analysis and scripting for large‑scale access logs.
• Experience with Google Search Console APIs, Ahrefs or Semrush‑style tools and analytics platforms.
