SEO Manager – Agency Side

About the role

You will manage multiple SEO accounts across different industries and markets, taking responsibility for SEO strategy, implementation, performance and reporting. You will report directly to the Senior Manager and CEO and collaborate closely with content, development, advertising, creative and account management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute SEO strategies across multiple client accounts.
• Develop and implement optimisation for traditional search and AI‑driven discovery platforms such as Answer Engine Optimization, Generative Engine Optimization and Large Language Model Optimisation.
• Conduct technical, on‑page, off‑page and content SEO audits, keyword research, competitor and search‑intent analysis.
• Manage technical SEO elements including crawling, indexing, site architecture, schema, redirects, Core Web Vitals and page performance.
• Create SEO content strategies, keyword mapping and optimisation recommendations.
• Oversee off‑page activities, link‑building and local SEO programmes.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, conversions and overall performance using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush and Screaming Frog.
• Produce monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers, content creators and other digital specialists and present strategies to clients.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience within a digital marketing agency.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of technical, on‑page, content and off‑page SEO.
• Experience with GA4, Google Search Console and professional SEO tools.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proactive, accountable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced agency environment.
