Service Coordinator (Marine Industry)

About the role

The Service Coordinator will be the central point for managing service activities in the marine technology sector. Based in Singapore, you will liaise with customers, field engineers, technicians, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure service jobs are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and service requests via phone and email, providing timely follow‑up.
• Prepare quotations, charges, service requests and job orders according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate and prioritize service schedules with field engineers, technicians, subcontractors and customers.
• Monitor ongoing service jobs, ensuring completion within agreed timelines.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, customer feedback and service history in the relevant systems.
• Provide regular updates on service activities and outstanding matters to the Service Manager.
• Identify opportunities for follow‑up services, equipment upgrades and maintenance.
• Coordinate customer audits, inspections, warranty claims and related documentation.
• Raise purchase requisitions and manage procurement of parts, accessories and installation materials.
• Prepare shipping and delivery documentation and arrange logistics for equipment and personnel.

Required profile

• GCE ‘N’, ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level with 3–4 years relevant experience, or Diploma in Business Administration (or related field) with 1–2 years experience.
• Experience in service coordination, customer service or technical administration is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
