Service Engineer – Marine Solutions

About the role

Emerson is seeking a Service Engineer to support its marine product portfolio across Singapore. You will work directly with customers, ensuring reliable operation through commissioning, maintenance, and technical support while upholding Emerson’s values of innovation, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of marine products.
• Perform commissioning, testing, and preventive maintenance to optimise system performance.
• Prepare accurate service reports in line with company standards.
• Deliver technical training and presentations to customers and internal teams.
• Offer remote technical support via phone and email.
• Collaborate with sales teams on technical discussions and customer meetings.
• Manage pre‑ and post‑service administrative activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in the marine industry, preferably on vessels or offshore installations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with basic sales/marketing awareness.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially influencing.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, P‑NET, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
