Site Engineer – Civil/Structural Projects

About the role

Ekosys Pte Ltd is looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join its Civil/Structural Engineering team. Based in Jurong West, West Region, this full‑time role is responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, document progress and address any deviations from design.
• Monitor material quality, workmanship and structural integrity throughout construction.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports and as‑built documentation.
• Lead safety briefings and enforce health and safety regulations on site.
• Manage site resources such as equipment, materials and labour to optimise productivity.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and implement solutions in consultation with senior engineers.
• Conduct surveys and measurements to verify compliance with design specifications.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate status to the project management team.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar on‑site construction role.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction practices, materials and methodologies.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and construction site management.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
