Skilled Carpenter

About the role

We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our construction team at Zoha Construction in Singapore. The role involves building, installing and repairing a variety of wood and wallboard structures on residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and instructions to construct or repair furniture, cabinets, doors, windows and other items.
• Measure, cut and shape wood, plywood and wallboard using hand and power tools.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring and trim.
• Inspect existing frameworks, replace damaged components and ensure quality workmanship.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and other tradesmen to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and clean site practices.
• Team‑oriented attitude with good communication with project staff.
