Social Media Strategist

About the role

Fuku is looking for a creative, strategic and results-driven Social Media Strategist / Digital Marketing & Content Lead to build and grow the company's online brand presence from the ground up. The role takes ownership of the entire digital marketing process, from planning and content creation to execution, performance analysis and optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Social media strategy and planning: develop and implement social media and digital marketing strategies, set brand positioning and content direction, choose platforms, plan monthly content calendars and campaigns, and manage accounts and content strategy independently.
• Creative content development: write captions and marketing copy, and plan, shoot, edit and produce short-form videos and promotional materials.
• Growth and performance: grow followers, reach and engagement organically, monitor metrics, analyse performance and stay up to date with algorithms and trends.
• Branding and digital marketing: strengthen online brand identity, run campaigns and brand awareness initiatives, turn traffic and engagement into leads, and work with internal teams to align marketing with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, content marketing or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build and grow social media accounts or brands from scratch.
• Able to work independently, take initiative and manage projects from concept to execution.

Required skills

• Content planning, video production, editing and social media management.
• Strong creative thinking, content ideation and storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of social media platforms, audience behaviour and digital marketing trends.
• Analytical skills to interpret performance data and improve strategies.
