Social Worker – Community Services

About the role

As a Social Worker at New Hope Community Services, you will support displaced and disadvantaged individuals across Singapore. You will conduct assessments, provide counselling, and connect clients with essential resources, working closely with cross‑functional teams and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients and stakeholders, conduct intake, needs and risk assessments, and co‑manage complex cases with relevant agencies.
• Prepare and maintain social reports, case records, and database updates, ensuring timely submission for audits and funder requirements.
• Set client goals, develop intervention plans, and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Facilitate quarterly support groups, community outreach events, and training sessions for clients.
• Lead and manage projects from planning through execution, aligning outcomes with programme goals.

Required profile

• Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and registration with SASW.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in social services or related sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
