Software Development Engineer Intern, Identity & Access Management

About the role

Autodesk's Identity & Access Management team builds reliable, scalable services supporting millions of customers. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers, architects and product managers to build and improve the membership platform, gaining hands-on experience with scalable, API-driven, cloud-native services. The internship runs from 11 January to 25 June 2027 (6 months full time, fixed dates) and is open to candidates on-site in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate the membership service with a self-organised agile team.
• Contribute to features improving performance, analytics, security or software quality.
• Improve unit, integration and end-to-end test coverage, and automated validation and quality gates.
• Assist with monitoring, alerting, metrics and troubleshooting.
• Translate product and technical requirements into clean, scalable code with mentorship from senior engineers.
• Explore developer and agent-friendly tooling that improves testing, code quality and workflows.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Understanding of REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Preferred: exposure to automated testing, CI/CD or cloud platforms (AWS preferred); interest in cloud-native development and AWS ecosystems.

Required skills

• Familiarity with at least one language such as Go, Java, C++, C# or Python.
• REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases.

The role may require in-person onboarding and/or ID verification. Salary depends on experience, education and location.
