Software Development Engineer (PDM Team)

About the role

Autodesk is looking for a passionate and motivated Software Development Engineer I to join its Product Data Management (PDM) engineering team in Singapore. The PDM team builds and maintains Autodesk's Product Data Management solutions, which help customers manage engineering design data across distributed environments. As a P1 engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, test and maintain software features while building your technical expertise in enterprise software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug and maintain software features under the guidance of senior engineers
• Take part in feature implementation based on functional and technical specifications
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code following engineering best practices
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, UX Designers and Product Managers throughout the development lifecycle
• Help troubleshoot defects and resolve production or customer-reported issues
• Take part in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Learn and adopt Agile practices, engineering standards and modern development tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• 0-2 years of software development experience, including internships or academic projects
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to learn and collaborate in a global engineering team

Required skills

• C# and .NET
• React, Node.js and similar technologies
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Git and the software development lifecycle
• Object-oriented programming principles

Preferred: cloud platforms or cloud-native development, Docker, React or Angular, automated testing frameworks, performance debugging, and familiarity with Autodesk products such as Inventor, AutoCAD or Revit.
