Software Engineer, Acceleration Platform

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Acceleration Platform team in Singapore. You will design and implement AI‑native, agentic systems that reduce developer toil and drive productivity across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large‑scale software solutions.
• Own the end‑to‑end implementation of AI‑native agentic systems and zero‑to‑one technical initiatives.
• Build scalable, resilient frameworks for self‑sustaining AI at enterprise scale.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion AI engineering excellence.
• Ensure distributed systems are secure‑by‑default and highly performant.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software programming experience in Python or C++.
• Minimum 1 year in a core ML domain (generative AI, NLP, computer vision, speech/audio, reinforcement learning, recommendation systems, or ML infrastructure).
• Minimum 1 year working with ML infrastructure such as model training, inference, deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
• Strong ability to read and understand complex codebases and thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Interest in agentic workflows, LLMs, developer productivity tools, and AI safety.
