Software Engineer, Agentic Applications

About the role

We are looking for a frontend/application engineer who values design, simplicity, and user experience to shape Simular’s cross‑platform desktop client—the primary interface for our AI agents. The role involves creating intuitive, elegant surfaces that feel as natural as the best productivity apps.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve our cross‑platform desktop app and future client experiences.
• Design and implement intuitive UX for interacting with AI agents, editing code, and managing tasks.
• Explore new interaction patterns that make powerful AI tools feel simple and natural.
• Work across layers, from UI to system integrations with native APIs when needed.
• Potentially extend the product to mobile or web platforms.
• Own your slice end‑to‑end, including business logic, BFF APIs, and occasional backend components.

Required profile

• Ability to build beautiful, functional applications with a strong focus on UX.
• Experience with desktop frameworks, web/mobile, or native APIs—flexible across stacks.
• Personal projects or side apps that demonstrate taste and ownership.
• Enthusiasm for both design details and technical depth.
