Software Engineer (Application Development)

About the role

Flexxon, a global pioneer in hardware-level security innovations behind its X-PHY AI-embedded cybersecurity solution, is looking for a hands-on, experienced Software Engineer to join its R&D team in Singapore. The engineer designs and builds in-house products and intelligent solutions, working closely with project managers, team leads, colleagues and stakeholders to turn business requirements into robust software and AI-powered applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop desktop applications, RESTful web APIs and AI-enabled software solutions.
• Develop, integrate and deploy machine learning models and intelligent features into production systems.
• Take part in requirements analysis, architecture design and project planning with cross-functional R&D teams.
• Maintain, optimize and refactor existing codebases and software components.
• Produce clean, well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate across teams with a focus on problem-solving, quality and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience or strong knowledge of full-cycle application, frontend UI/UX and backend API development.
• Knowledge and experience of AI/ML modeling and integrating AI models into software applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) is a plus.
