Software Engineer – Commerce (Flutter)

About the role

Google’s Payments team builds seamless, secure payment experiences across Google Pay. As a Software Engineer – Commerce you will create client‑side features using Flutter to deliver Android and iOS experiences for millions of users in Singapore and worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Flutter (Dart) codebase that powers Google Pay on Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with UX designers and Product Managers to design and implement new user‑facing purchasing and advertising capabilities.
• Write and update documentation or educational content, adapting it to product updates and user feedback.
• Triage product or system issues, debug, and resolve problems affecting hardware, network, or service quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience, including front‑end development.
• Proficiency with Dart and Flutter.
• Experience building mobile or client‑side applications that scale globally is a plus.
