Software Engineer, Core Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to build the core platform that powers live robot operations across global deployments. This role goes beyond a generic backend position, owning the software loop that connects teleoperation, real‑time robot control, data pipelines and AI model improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the core platform enabling live robot operations worldwide.
• Develop systems for teleoperation, remote supervision, intervention and operator control.
• Architect backend services that connect robots, operators and cloud systems in real time.
• Build data engines that transform telemetry, logs, video and sensor streams into AI training workflows.
• Close the loop between deployment and learning to continuously improve field robots.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, performance and observability of a distributed, production‑critical stack.
• Collaborate with robotics, autonomy and AI teams to turn field operations into product and model advantages.
• Help define the long‑term architecture and technical foundation of the platform.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Experience in distributed, backend or real‑time systems and cloud platforms.
• Ability to design robust, scalable and debuggable systems under real‑world constraints.
• Comfort owning messy, cross‑functional problems from architecture to execution.
• High agency, strong judgment and a bias toward building.
