Software Engineer (Full‑Stack, Next.js & Java/Node.js)

About the role

We are partnering with a multinational organisation seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join their development team. The role focuses on building high‑performance web applications, primarily using Next.js for the frontend and Java or Node.js for backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications with Next.js.
• Build and integrate scalable backend APIs using Java or Node.js.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code following best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Next.js (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of modern frontend development, including React, state management, and performance optimisation.
• Proven experience with either Java or Node.js.
• Ability to design and build scalable APIs and backend services.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, object‑oriented design, and software architecture.
