Software Engineer III - React UI Developer

About the role

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join its Global Banking Payments Technology team. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure, high‑quality React‑based user interfaces for market‑leading financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot front‑end software solutions using React and related technologies.
• Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, and visualize large data sets to drive continuous improvement of applications.
• Provide technical leadership in UI development and contribute to open, standards‑based solutions.
• Identify hidden problems in data and use insights to improve code hygiene and system architecture.
• Participate in engineering communities of practice and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands‑on front‑end development experience with React.
• Strong background in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
