Software Engineer – Java with Outsystems/ServiceNow Preference

About the role

NCS, a leading AI tech services company in Singapore, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its development team. You will work on designing, building, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications, primarily using Java while also gaining exposure to Outsystems and ServiceNow platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into design specifications.
• Develop, test, enhance, and maintain application modules following established standards.
• Participate in system integration, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Support system testing activities, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Investigate and resolve defects, bugs, and production issues.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and artefacts for delivery and governance.
• Ensure code complies with security guidelines and best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience developing application software, preferably in enterprise or government environments.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
