Software Engineer – SharePoint & Cloud Integration

About the role

GovTech is looking for a Software Engineer to set up and integrate a SharePoint server with cloud services, while handling day‑to‑day IT issues across applications, infrastructure and security. You will support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and cloud infrastructure to ensure smooth operations for Singapore’s Smart Nation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and integrate SharePoint Online with cloud platforms.
• Manage and resolve daily IT issues related to applications, infrastructure, and security.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows and infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure security and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Required profile

• At least 2 full Agile/project life‑cycle experiences as a developer or technical business analyst.
• Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online and AWS cloud solutions.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, design, coding, testing and debugging capabilities.
• Experience with requirement‑elicitation techniques such as design thinking, persona analysis and customer journey mapping.
• Knowledge of client‑server models, relational databases, cloud architectures, Docker and containers.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and DevOps practices is a plus.
