Software Product Manager – GENNECT Series

About the role

Hioki is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the GENNECT series of software and apps. Based in Singapore, you will shape the future of the GENNECT ecosystem and integrate software into Hioki’s customer value proposition, collaborating closely with engineering, UX, marketing and teams in Japan.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the GENNECT software and app portfolio.
• Define target users, use cases and differentiated value propositions, translating hardware strengths into software‑enabled workflows.
• Engage directly with customers and sales teams to uncover pain points and turn insights into product priorities.
• Work hands‑on with engineering and UX/UI teams throughout the product lifecycle, creating wireframes, prototypes and driving Agile development.
• Take commercial ownership, setting launch, adoption and performance KPIs and managing the full product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
• 7+ years of product management experience with a strong software background.
• Proven ownership of products from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
• Excellent product judgement, prioritisation skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Strong cross‑functional and cross‑cultural communication, comfortable working with Japan‑based teams in English.
• Active user of modern AI tools for research, analysis, writing or prototyping.
