Solution Architect – Full‑Stack & Cloud (Contract)

About the role

Our client, a Singapore public‑sector organisation focused on community and cultural development, is looking for an experienced Solution Architect on a contract basis. You will lead the design and delivery of modern, production‑grade digital solutions, applying cutting‑edge engineering practices such as agentic workflows and cloud‑native development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture and design of scalable web applications using modern full‑stack technologies.
• Drive full‑stack development with Next.js and TypeScript, ensuring component‑based architecture and best practices.
• Develop and oversee agentic engineering workflows, leveraging coding agents for spec‑driven development.
• Own implementation of spec‑driven development practices and review outputs for quality.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and deployments (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFront).
• Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC tools (Terraform or CDK).
• Establish monitoring and observability frameworks to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering production‑grade applications.
• Experience with government or large‑scale enterprise digital projects is a plus.
