Sourcing Category Manager – Global Procurement

About the role

This is a strategic and operationally impactful sourcing role at the heart of Pixii's supply chain function. As Sourcing Category Manager you will own the development and execution of category strategies across key material groups, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness and supplier quality for global battery energy storage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead sourcing strategies for assigned material categories, aligned with business stakeholders and project teams across regions.
• Manage supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement in quality, delivery performance and commercial terms.
• Conduct market investigations, benchmarking and should‑cost analysis to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate and introduce new suppliers and technologies to optimise the supply base.
• Negotiate and manage supply, framework and service agreements.
• Deliver annual savings targets and improve payment terms in line with company objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management and quality on sourcing decisions for new product development.
• Maintain accurate supplier database and handle ECN and ERP system updates.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of sourcing and procurement experience, preferably in electronics, electrical or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven track record developing and executing category strategies, including market analysis and benchmarking.
• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated commercial outcomes.
• Experience with engineering projects, technical specifications and supply‑chain contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain or a related field.
• Analytical, structured and detail‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Self‑driven, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑growing environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently as required.
