Specialist - Inventory Control

About the role

The Specialist – Inventory Control will manage daily inventory activities, ensuring accurate stock levels and compliance with FIFO and expiry rules. This role supports warehouse, store and finance teams to maintain optimal inventory health across Singapore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory tasks including cycle counts, inbound processing, stock health monitoring, returns, transfers, adjustments, and handling lost or damaged items.
• Enforce FIFO control for continuing and discontinued items, manage expiry dates and batch information within the system.
• Promote inventory efficiency by identifying optimization opportunities and proposing improvement ideas.
• Control and minimize out‑of‑stock (OOS) and back‑order ratios.
• Coordinate with store operations to monitor stock levels, aged merchandise and develop corrective action plans.
• Prepare weekly inventory status reports and periodic analyses for management review.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience handling inventory in an e‑commerce or retail environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/WMS systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ethical, disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to respond promptly to email, ticket or chat enquiries.
