Staff Analog IC Design Engineer (ADC)

About the role

Qualcomm’s PMIC team is looking for an experienced Analog IC Design Engineer to lead the development of high‑performance, low‑power ADCs and precision analog blocks for next‑generation mobile, XR, wearable and computing platforms. As a senior technical contributor you will own the architecture, design, verification and silicon bring‑up of mixed‑signal IP that powers industry‑leading power‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define specifications and architectures for ADCs and related analog subsystems.
• Design and verify ADC cores, comparators, amplifiers, references, DACs, oscillators and clocking circuits at the transistor level.
• Develop behavioral models and support mixed‑signal verification across PVT and Monte‑Carlo corners.
• Lead silicon bring‑up, characterization, debug and correlation to simulation results.
• Collaborate with layout, digital, test, product and applications teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• MSEE with 8+ years or PhD with 5+ years of analog/mixed‑signal IC design experience.
• Proven track record delivering ADC or precision analog IP to silicon.
• Strong knowledge of SAR, Delta‑Sigma, Pipeline or Hybrid ADC architectures.
• Experience with ultra‑low‑power design, digital calibration techniques and silicon validation.
