Staff Nurse – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to lead night‑shift nursing operations at our residential care facility in Singapore. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, supervising the nursing team, and supporting administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Nurse‑in‑Charge for night shift, overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, assign tasks and conduct performance appraisals.
• Conduct resident rounds, assess conditions, administer medications and senior nursing treatments, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation, update charts and resident records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians and pharmacists.
• Participate in quality‑assurance, fire‑safety and emergency‑response committees.

Required profile

• State‑registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Minimum two years of experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive work culture.
