About the role
We are seeking a Staff Nurse to work in the Operating Theatre, offering a valuable learning environment. The position is based at 20 Anson Road, Tanjong Pagar, Singapore, and is a full‑time junior role providing hands‑on experience in surgical care. You will work closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the doctor with examinations and patient assessments.
- Prepare and educate patients on surgery procedures.
- Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care and follow‑up support.
- Prepare the operating theatre and ensure surgical instruments are sterile and ready.
- Assist surgeons as a scrub or circulating nurse during procedures.
- Maintain high standards of infection control and accurate nursing documentation.
