Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse – Endoscopy Centre

About the role

The Registered Nurse will deliver safe, patient‑centred care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients from pre‑procedure assessment through recovery and discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑, intra‑, and post‑procedure nursing care for endoscopy patients.
• Assist endoscopists during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor clinical status, sedation recovery, and procedural outcomes.
• Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment and accessories.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑prevention, scope reprocessing, and patient‑safety standards.
• Deliver patient education and discharge counselling.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma or degree.
• Strong interest in procedural and acute‑care environments.
• Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and compassionate.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, on‑call duties, and weekends.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound clinical decisions.
