Staff Nurse – Tanjong Katong

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Tanjong Katong nursing home. The role involves delivering personalized, cost-effective care to residents while collaborating with doctors, allied health professionals and the wider care team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in line with approved standards and each resident’s care plan.
• Conduct and supervise assessments for new admissions.
• Administer medications safely and manage controlled drugs.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, update the care team, and recommend plan adjustments.
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Partner with allied health professionals for preventive and rehabilitative procedures.
• Prepare staff rosters, supervise daily ward assignments, and support training of nursing staff.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and contribute to a safe, clean environment.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with performance appraisals.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board with a valid practising certificate.
• Relevant nursing experience, preferably in eldercare, community hospital or nursing home settings.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and a strong team player.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
