Staffing Executive

About the role

The Staffing Executive will lead recruitment, training and rostering for our climbing gym staff, ensuring operational excellence and safety across all locations. You will also support employee engagement and contribute directly to an outstanding customer experience on the floor.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and assess suitability of gym staff and internship applicants.
• Design, deliver and monitor training programs covering performance, safety compliance and First Aid.
• Provide counseling, retraining and upgrade training for staff identified for promotion.
• Maintain training manuals, OJT and probation checklists to ensure readiness.
• Organise scheduling of shortlisted applicants for training, OJT and probationary shifts.
• Develop and manage staff rosters, respond to shift changes and absences.
• Calculate eligibility for gym passes and manage family/multi‑pass allocations.
• Serve as Floor Crew or Duty Officer up to twice weekly, engaging with customers and staff to gather feedback.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in recruitment, training or operations within a service‑oriented environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
