About the role

The Stewarding Supervisor will lead the stewarding team in daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and back‑of‑house areas. This role involves coordinating staff, managing schedules, and maintaining compliance with company SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead stewarding staff on daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and back‑of‑house areas.
• Coordinate manpower deployment and work schedules.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, and discipline.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Conduct on‑site inspections to verify compliance with SOPs.
• Liaise with clients and operations team on daily operational matters.
• Train new staff and provide guidance to team members.
• Prepare simple reports and submit daily updates when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience in stewarding, cleaning, or hospitality.
• Ability to lead and manage a team independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety and hygiene practices.
