Store Keeper – Retail Inventory & Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an organized Store Keeper to manage all stock, staff coordination and promotional planning for our retail outlet. The role is pivotal in ensuring accurate inventory, smooth store operations and compliance with hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and store all incoming goods and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Process store requisitions, ensuring proper approvals and matching quantities.
• Update the Material Management System (MMS) with invoices, receipts and inventory movements.
• Monitor automatic replacement levels for food items and manage expiry control.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of storage areas in line with health regulations.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to order, receive and resolve vendor delivery issues.
• Assist accounts payable in resolving cost discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in retail management, marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in retail management or sales.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and professional demeanor.
